MOWERYTOWN — The St. Joseph Flyers went on the road for their tournament game, but they must have forgotten to pack their offense. Missing leading scorer Barrett Waginger, St. Joseph struggled to score and lost 73-40 to the Whiteoak Wildcats in the division 7 district quarterfinals on Thursday. Hot-shooting Dragons burn up nets, advance to district semis
PROCTORVILLE — The late, great Jerry Reed once sang, “When you’re hot, you’re hot.” The Fairland Dragons weren’t just hot. They were sizzling. The Dragons were 33 of 47 from the field for 70 percent including 11 of 25 from the 3-point line for 44 percent as they beat the South Point Pointers 63-35 on Tuesday in the Division 5 district quarterfinals. Lady Hornets can't get shots to fall in loss to Belpre
CHILLICOTHE — Despite a third quarter rally to take the lead, a cold shooting streak in the fourth proved to be too much to overcome for the Coal Grove Lady Hornets, as they fell to the Belpre Lady Golden Eagles 38-32 in the Division 6 district semifinals on Tuesday at Southeastern High School.
