Buckeyes fall to Wisconsin, 65-60

COLUMBUS — Despite a second-half rally, the Ohio State Buckeyes couldn't quite overcome an 18-point deficit, as they fell to the Wisconsin Badgers 65-60 on Thursday night.

The Buckeyes, who have lost eight of their last nine games, are now 11-11 on the year and 3-8 in the Big Ten.

Brice Sensabaugh led all Buckeye scorers, finishing with 13 points. But he was plagued with foul trouble all night. Sensabaugh fouled out with 9:20 remaining in the game.

Zed Key finished with 12 points and nine rebounds. He has now scored 10 or more points in six of his last seven games since his shoulder injury.

Justice Sueing added eight points and pulled-down a game-high and career-high tying 11 rebounds. Sueing eclipsed 1,500 career points during the game.

Isaac Likekele scored eight points, recorded seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block.

Wisconsin took advantage of 11 turnovers by the Buckeyes in the first half and took a lead 43-27 into the locker room at halftime.

Ohio State was able to chip away at the lead, but the Badgers managed to stretch their lead out to 15 with just over seven minutes to play.

The Buckeyes then went on a 13-0 run and held Wisconsin in check during the final seven minutes to get close. But Chucky Hepburn's 3 free throws in the final 24 seconds helped seal the win for the Badgers.

The Buckeyes will travel to Ann Arbor this weekend as they face Michigan on Sunday afternoon. Tip is set for 1 p.m. and the game will be televised on CBS.
