The super regionals for 2024 NCAA baseball tournament kickoff this weekend with showcase plenty of exciting storylines and top-level teams.
Some of the top-seeded teams include Tennessee, Georgia, NC State, Kentucky, and Texas A&M. These teams have showcased their dominance and punched their tickets into the round of 16.
UConn is one of the underdog stories of the tournament. The Huskies shocked much of the baseball world after defeating No. 9 seed Oklahoma 7-1, ending the Sooners quest for another World Series appearance.
In another surprising turn of events, Evansville advanced in tournament play by beating No. 16 seed East Carolina 6-5 to make it to the Super Regionals.
The eight teams that emerge from the Super Regionals this weekend will make the trip to Omaha for the highly anticipated Men's College World Series, which will start on June 14.
