Cyclones fall to Komets in Game 3

FORT WAYNE, IN—Despite a career-high 45 saves from net minder Beck Warm, the Cincinnati Cyclones dropped a 3-0 decision to the Fort Wayne Komets on Tuesday night.

Komets goaltender Ryan Fanti stopped all 35 shots to pave the way for the win.
Cincinnati still holds a 2-1 edge over Fort Wayne in the opening series of the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
Fort Wayne struck early when Dan Maggio shoveled a rebound between Warm's legs to give the Komets a 1-0 lead just 1:48 into the game.
Darien Kielb and Matt Boudens both added goals in the third period as the Komets pulled away for the win.
The Cyclones managed just eight shots in the final period to Fort Wayne's 22. Cincinnati was unsuccessful on six power play opportunities for the game.
Cincinnati will look to bounce back Friday night in Game 4 in Fort Wayne. Game 5 will also be in Fort Wayne on Saturday night.
