Impact Player To Watch For Ironton: Zayne Williams

With the weather looking to turn cold, wet, and windy this Friday night, the run game could become a major player. Williams has found the end zone 17 times this season (13 rushing, 4 receiving). The junior is very much a throwback Ironton back, being able to both run between the tackles and have enough speed to break away once he clears the first level of the defense.

Key Matchup To Watch When Ironton Has The Ball: Offensive Line vs. Defensive Line

Weather conditions might play a factor. This means Ironton's lines on both sides of the ball will become a focal point. The offensive line has been one of the most consistent units all season, and the defensive line has been very impactful all season.

Key Impact Players To Watch For Wheelersburg: Braylon Rucker & Elijah Brown

The Pirates are not hiding their intentions on trying to run the ball this Friday. They will look to accomplish that behind their two main weapons in Rucker and Brown. Last week, the duo combined for 175 yards on 33 carries and 3 rushing scores. They should be a focal point of the offense again this week.

What To Watch For When Wheelersburg Has The Ball: Rushing Game vs. Front 7

Wheelersburg has become a run-heavy offense as the season has wore on. In order to keep this game in their control, the Pirates will need to eat clock and shorten the game. The Pirates will need their size advantage up front to open holes up for Rucker and Brown.
