HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall men’s and women’s women’s basketball teams host a preseason men’s-women’s doubleheader against the University of Pikeville Sunday from the Cam Henderson Center.

Tip-off for the men’s game will be at 3 p.m. with the women’s game to follow after at 6:30 p.m.

Admission to both games are free. Herd fans can purchase season tickets for both programs now.

Sunday will provide Herd fans a first look at first-year Head Coach Kim Caldwell’s side. The Marshall women return a pair of double digit scorers including 2023-24 Preseason All Sun Belt Conference First Team member, Roshala Scott.

“We are excited to see what Sunday brings and to see what the crowd is like and to see what we do in front of a home crowd, it will be a good test for us,” Caldwell said.

Dan D’Antoni enters his 10th season leading Marshall’s men’s basketball program. Coach D’Antoni’s side had two members named to 2023-24 Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team in Kamdyn Curfman and Obinna Anochili-Killen.

“We’re looking forward to the Pikeville game because it gives you a peek into where we are rather than playing ourselves,” D’Antoni said.
