LLOYD, Ky, — The Chesapeake Lady Panthers have 20-20 vision.
The Lady Panthers were hitting the bull’s-eye with their shooting as Kate Ball and Abbey Isaacs were 20-20 as they each scored 20 points in a 59-36 win over the Greenup County Lady Musketeers on Wednesday.
Ball had a trifecta and scored 9 points while Isaacs nailed a pair of 3-pointers and scored 8 points as Chesapeake (8-4) roared to a 20-4 first quarter lead.
In the second quarter, Isaacs had another trey and scored 7 points while Ball hit a triple and had 5 points and the lead grew to 36-15 at the half.
Addison Branim scored 7 points including a 3-pointer for Greenup in the quarter.
The Lady Musketeers outscored Chesapeake 16-15 in the third quarter and it was 51-31.
Branim had 6 points and Eva Wireman hit a trey and had 4 points for the Lady Musketeers.
Erin Hicks drilled a pair of shots from behind the arc and Ball scored 6 points as she went 4-of-4 at the foul line.
Isaacs hit a 3-pointer and made 2 foul shots as the Lady Panthers outscored Greenup 8-5.
Stith hit a 3-pointer and scored all 5 of Greenup’s points.
Branim scored 15 points for Greenup County (1-12).
