The NBA announced that Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green and forward Jae'Sean Tate were suspended one game for leaving the bench area during an altercation with the Sacramento Kings.
The incident happened during the early part of the fourth quarter of the Rockets' 139-114 road loss on Friday. Things began to escalate after Houston's Garrison Mathews fouled Sacramento's Malik Monk while the two were pursuing a loose ball.
Mathews was fined $35,000 for initiating the altercation and taunting Monk. Houston forward Tari Eason was fined $30,000 for escalating the situation and inadvertently making contact with an official. Monk was fined $25,000 for continuing the altercation and taunting Mathews.
All three players were given technical fouls and ejected.
Green and Tate served their suspensions on Sunday during the Rockets road loss to the LA Clippers.
Houston has now lost 15 of its last 16 games.
