PROCTORVILLE — Offense was not a problem.
The Fairland Lady Dragons had their offense in high gear as they rolled to an 85-21 Ohio Valley Conference win over the Gallipolis Blue Angels on Thursday.
Eight different players scored, led by Bailey Russell with a game-high 25 points. Bree Allen scored 17, Kamryn Barnitz 12 and Addison Godby added 10 points.
Hannah Taylor had 6 rebounds with Teagan Leep grabbing 4 rebounds for the Lady Dragons (12-1, 7-1). Kylee Bruce had 7 assists and Taliaferro, Allen and Barnitz had 4 each.
Russell had 7 steals, Bruce 5 and Godby 4.
Barnitz made a pair of 3-pointers while Russel and Godby had 4 points each as Fairland led 20-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Russell knocked down a triple and scored 13 points and Bree Allen also had a trey and scored 9 points as Fairland blew the game open by outscoring the Blue Angels 33-3 and led 53-3 at the half.
Russell scored 4 points in the third quarter while Bruce, Allen and Godby added a basket each and it was 63-12.
Taliaferro drained a pair of 3-pointers while Allen, Barnitz and Russell scored 4 points each and the Lady Dragons outscored Gallipolis 22-9 in the final quarter.
