Redwomen volleyball Rallies to win OVC Match

PEDRO — Down but not out.


The Rock Hill Redwomen trailed 2-1 before winning two straight sets including the tiebreaker to take a thrilling five-set Ohio Valley Conference volleyball win on Thursday.


Coal Grove lost the first set 25-22 but came back to win 25-19 and 25-17. Rock Hill tied the game with a 25-17 win and then took the tiebreaker 15-12.


Despite the loss, Coal Grove’s Kenadee Keaton racked up 20 points, Bryna Guy had 19 points, 7 kills and 9 blocks, Olivia Kingrey had 18 points 6 kills, 3 blocks, 3 aces and 13 digs, Gracie Damron 14 points with 13 kills and 12 blocks, Kelsey Farley 13 points, 5 blocks and more than 60 on the ball assists while Kylie Montgomery had 13 points, 7 kills and 18 digs.


Coal Grove won the junior varsity game in straight sets, 25-20, 25-15.
