ASHLAND, Ky. — Nixon Snavely may not be a singer, but he still cut a record on Tuesday.
Rock Hill Redmen cross country runner set a school record with a time of 15:35.2 as he finished first among individual runners at the annual Ashland Invitational All-Comers Cross Country meet.
Rock Hill had just 32 points while Wheelersburg was runner-up with 63. Russell had 79, George Rogers Clark 101, Gallipolis 109 and host Ashland 127.
Snavely’s teammates also turned in strong performances.
Ryan Riddle was fourth at 17:06.57, Dakotah Sanders 7th at 17:26.83, Kelan Davidson 9th at 18:35.0 and Ben Simpson 14th with a 19:05.13 time.
