The Fairland Lady Dragons just keep on rolling.
The Lady Dragons remained unbeaten with a 75-23 rout of the Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers on Monday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
Bailey Russell scored 20 points to lead 4 players in double figures. Kamryn Barnitz scored 11 points while Bree Allen and Addison Godby had 10 each for Fairland (5-0, 3-0).
Lola Hankins hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 13 points to pace Ironton (2-3, 1-2)
Russell had 8 points, Allen had 6 points and Godby hit a 3-pointer and also scored 6 points as Fairland raced to a 28-8 first quarter lead.
Hankins nailed a 3-pointer and scored all of Ironton’s points.
Russell hit a trey and had 7 points and Kamryn Barnitz scored 6 points as Fairland extended its lead to 47-14 at the half.
Five different players scored for Fairland led by Kylee Bruce with 5 points including a 3-pointer as the lead went to 61-19 after 3 quarters.
Russell, Isa Taliaferro and Teagan Leep all hit 3-pointers in the fourth quarter for the Lady Dragons.
Emerson White scored all 4 Ironton points.
On Thursday, Ironton goes to Rock Hill and Fairland hosts South Point.
